15 Minute Full Body Detox Secret You Must Try.
Modern people become ‘toxic’ in many ways, not only through diet and lifestyle but also through harmful relationships and emotions.
Why do we need detox?
In today’s urban jungle, humans are continually get exposed to toxins, from the air we breathe to an unhealthy and processed diet, to the daily cleaning products we use along with cosmetics, body, and hair products. Combine all of that with sedentary Netflix-based lifestyles, unorganized eating habits, high-stress workplaces, and lack of sleep, and the result is a body that can easily become overwhelmed by an ever-increasing toxic load.
It is important to know that all the food which is processed and heavily refined does not get properly broken down by the body. the residual get stick to the walls of our intestine and over time it forms the thick coating of harmful bacterias molds and viruses.
That taco which you ate a year ago might still be sitting in your intestine. over time all this gunk starts rotting and gets absorbed into the body, where it gets accumulated in the liver, kidneys, heart, arteries.
When the body is free from stress and strong immunity, it is able to eliminate toxins efficiently, but when they become overloaded from free radicals and stress hormones, they can become sluggish, overweight (or underweight in some instances), and more susceptible to lifestyle disease. By clearing away excess toxins on a regular basis, the entire body can become revitalized and rejuvenated.
The purpose of detox is to take the load off the organs that toxify the body i.e the liver, kidneys, lungs, heart and bowel – while at the same time healing and improving their performance. It is a period of rest for the digestive system by cutting down our processed food intake and switching to cleansing high fiber foods, removing processed, refined and aggressive foods such as coffee, alcohol and heavy proteins from our diet we give the body a chance to cleanse.
So in this article, I’m going to give you single ingredient body detox, that can not only clean but also pulls the toxins from the body to itself.
So the Secret is Oil pulling.
The concept of oil pulling comes from Ayurveda, the world’s oldest holistic medicinal practice, originating in India more than 5,000 years ago. The principal of Ayurvedic healing is establishing simple daily routine that flushes our body keeping the body clean and strong. Part of the recommended daily morning routine, called ‘dinacharya,’ includes oil pulling.
In Ayurveda this practice is called ‘kavala’ or ‘gundusha.’ The founders of Ayurveda knew the importance of a detoxifying morning routine to clean up stored toxins overnight, which we are only beginning to discover when all the modern medicines are failing.
There are thousands of articles explaining how oil pulling is good for oral health, but it is much more than that. when practiced properly and regularly it can cure more than 30 types of ills, and the best part is the cost of this method is cheaper than pills you need to take for health. I’m so convinced with the claims because I’ve felt the miraculous benefits of oil pulling by myself.
Studies have proven that our mouth is connected with all of our vital organs through the network of veins and spine, and acts as the mirror of the general health of the human body. our oral cavity harbors billions of microorganisms, some of these contribute to the development or progression of systemic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, etc. Oral health and general health is interrelated. So it is very important to maintain oral health.
So how does oil pulling detoxes the body
when we mix oil with water it doesn’t get mixed well, but when we mix oil with any other oil it mixes well, the microorganism in our body is covered in lipids which is fat. when we oil pull, the oil in our mouth acts like a big magnet attaching itself to all the microorganisms.
when we spit the oil out all this bacterial waste gets out of our body. The best part is research has proven that our tongue is connected to the Heart, Kidneys, Lungs, Liver, Spine so it doesn’t only cleans the mouth but also cleanses the body.
The additional benefits of oil pulling include the following:
cleanse teeth, gums, and tongue of bacteria
combat plaque build-up
heal sensitive gums
fight bad breath
How to do it
The best practice of oil pulling is very easy to master. Swish 1 tablespoon of cold-pressed coconut, sesame, or sunflower oil in your mouth for about 10 to 20 minutes every morning before breakfast. I recommend coconut oil because I, ve felt the best results from it, and also it tastes the best and has higher antibacterial qualities.
Important: Coconut oil is sometimes solid at room temperature (depending on the temperature of your pantry), but it will emulsify in your warm mouth quite quickly.
First-day oil pulling might trigger the gag reflex, so if you can’t make it the full 20 minutes, start by swishing for as long as you can and add 1 minute each day.
If you’re the multitasking type, try oil pulling while you are in the shower or making your bed in the morning, or reading your morning newspaper. Just be sure to spit the used oil in the trash or paper towel rather than the sink or toilet because oil can solidify and clog pipes.
Remember to Be gentle and slow — no need to be as aggressive as you are with mouthwashes, as you will be doing it for 20 minutes and don’t want to get a sore jaw! The oil will almost double in size as it draws in saliva as well as toxins. Be very careful not to swallow as you will be taking these toxins into your body — the complete opposite of what you are trying to do.
Rinse with warm water and follow with your usual tooth brushing, flossing, and tongue-scraping routine.
